Brenna Sherrill became the Project Coordinator for Study Abroad and Global Learning in 2017. She is a graduate of the WKU Mahurin Honors College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Popular Culture Studies and French from WKU and a Master of Arts in English. Brenna studied abroad in England and Quebec, Canada as an undergraduate student and has participated in the WKU Study Away program to the Sundance Film Festival three times as a student and teaching assistant. Brenna previously spent a year as a faculty member teaching English in the School of University Studies.
Brenna’s research and academic interests include American drama and musical theatre, the literary merits of the Harry Potter book series, and the Manic Pixie Dream Girl character archetype in independent film.
