Staff Mentoring Program

Staff Mentor Program

Staff Council is proud to offer a Staff Mentoring Program particularly helpful to new hires. If interested, you will be paired with a current staff member who will help guide you during the first three months of employment. A mentor can be a valuable resource to help answer questions, connect with other employees and to become familiar with our complex campus.

Suggestions for Mentors and Mentees are:

  1. Mentor makes contact with Mentee, via email or phone, within the first two weeks of employment for introduction and general questions.
  2. Mentor and Mentee meet for lunch at Fresh Food within the first month of employment and utilize the free coupons, compliments of Aramark Food Services.
  3. Mentor makes contact with Mentee once a month, via phone or email, during the first three months of employment to check in and answer general questions the Mentee might have.

The timeframe suggests the formal program last three months; however, it is hopeful that this will be an ongoing interaction between the two individuals.
