Form a Student Organization
Form a Registered Student Organization (RSO)
Forming a student organization at WKU is easy! Administered through Student Activities, as a student, using your Toppermail account, you need only contact Student Activities and express interest in creating an organization.
To form your own RSO, please follow these steps:
1. Email Student Activities. All forms and instructions for starting/registering a student group will be sent to you via return email. Follow the steps given to you.
a. When emailing Student Activities, simply say, “Hello, my name is [insert name] and I am interested in forming a Registered Student Organization (RSO) at WKU. Please let me know what steps I need to follow to begin this process. Thank you.”
2. You will need an Advisor's Statement Form - Email Student Activities for this form.
3. If you need help writing your constitution for your new RSO, please contact WKU SGA at email@example.com and a member of our organization will assist you.
