Transfer Targeted Awards require full-time enrollment (12 or more credit hours).
Students who meet the minimum criteria for this award (GPA/24+ transfer hours) but do not apply for admission by the April 1 (for fall) and November 1 (for spring) deadline will still be considered, contingent upon availability of scholarship funds. Notification of eligibility for late applicants will occur by mid-July for fall applicants and by mid-December for spring applicants.
Scholarship awards are applied toward charges that exist on the student’s account at WKU. In the event total awards (grants, loans, scholarships) exceed total charges (tuition, fees, housing, meals, books), a refund will be issued to the student by the option chosen when selecting the refund preference at RefundSelection.com.
Transfer Targeted Awards are automatically renewable with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (at the end of the spring semester). Students who fail to meet the renewal GPA of 3.0 can use the summer term to bring their GPA up to the required level.
Transfer Targeted Awards are renewable for up to 2 academic years or until graduation, whichever occurs first.
