Classroom Presentations

Are you interested in having your students talk with someone in the health field?

College and Medical Students:

AHEC and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine Student Ambassador Program are excited to offer middle and high school students the chance to talk with current UK medical students. The medical students will talk and answer questions about the health profession as well as the college and medical school process. Medical students are available to meet with your class either in person, or via video conferencing services. We do our best to pair schools with medical students from that county or a surrounding county.

If your students are interested in talking to undergraduate students, we can arrange for WKU students in pre-health programs to video conference with your class.

Health Professionals:

Are you interested in having a health professional talk with your students? AHEC will coordinate with your local health professionals to arrange a meeting with your class. AHEC will also coordinate meetings with health professionals through video conferencing services. Let your students explore the countless possibilities in the health field!

AHEC Presentations:

AHEC staff will meet with your students and discuss a variety of health careers. These presentations can be tailored to the students and teachers' interests.

For more information about any of these programs, please contact Catherine Malin or call 270-745-3325.
