Mr. Frederick A. Higdon
Frederick Higdon is a Commissioner with Kentucky Alcoholic Beverage Control. He is also Partner in Spragens & Higdon, PSC law firm in Lebanon, Ky., where he focuses in corporate, estate planning, probate, real estate and taxation law. He served as Assistant Marion County Attorney from 1992 to 1996. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, having earned that distinction in 1976. Higdon currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Peoples Bank in Lebanon. He was appointed in August 2008 as a Special Justice to the Kentucky Supreme Court. He is a 1972 graduate of WKU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville in 1975. Higdon is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Marion County Bar Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, Western Kentucky University Alumni Association, University of Louisville – School of Law Alumni Association and the Leadership-Lebanon/Marion County Alumni Association. His term on the board ends June 2015.
