WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks.

Master of Public Health (MPH)

Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree Program offers two concentrations:

  1. Health Education
  2. Environmental Health

Health Education concentration prepares professionals who design, conduct and evaluate activities helping to improve the health of all people in a variety of institutional and community settings. The Environmental health concentration allows you to learn how to assess a myriad of toxic substances in our surroundings in order to protect the population from their ill effects.

Master of Health Administration (MHA)

The Department of Public Health offers a Master's program in Health Administration. This program prepares the student for management and administrative positions in various types of health care facilities, organizations, and agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, group medical practices, health maintenance organizations, public health agencies and clinics. This program will also prepare individuals to work in medical sales companies, health planning agencies, the health insurance sector and other related health organizations.
