Kayla Dowdy joined WKU in 2014 as Digital Media Marketing Coordinator for WKU Creative Web Service, under the Division of Public Affairs. In her position, Dowdy assists in the planning and implementation of recruitment and retention through social media. She measures, analyzes, and documents the success and impact of social media efforts on organizational goals. Additionally, she assists in the development and implementation of social media marketing campaigns and serves as a resource for social media managers throughout the WKU network.
In 2016, Dowdy enrolled as a graduate student at WKU and started work on a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership. She has also served as Vice President of Communications for the Professional Marketing Association of Bowling Green.
