WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks. 

Residence Halls remain open until noon Saturday. Bemis & Barnes have space for those who need to stay longer. Visit WKU Housing & Residence Life for more information.

University Ceremonies and Special Events

The Office of University Ceremonies and Special Events coordinates and implements University functions and special programs conducted on behalf of the President and is charged with ensuring that appropriate protocols and conventions of etiquette are maintained in connection with all invitations, programs and correspondence associated with events hosted by the President. Responsibilities include event invitations; site selection; menu selection in consultation with WKU Restaurant and Catering; organization of seating arrangements; development of an event agenda; recommendations for appropriate gifts to be given to attendees or honorees; and preparation of background information and support materials.

University Ceremonies and Special Events staff is also available to assist all University departments with ceremonial events by providing planning, professional expertise and direction in the development of each event.
