Come join the Political Science Department at the Potter College of Arts and Letters on Oct. 30 from 1-4 p.m. Mingle with the other departments in your college and get to know your peers who share the same interests. There may even be free prizes and exciting games to partake in! Stop by the Political Science table for more information about classes and to also join the Government and Politics Society. The festival will be held at the Colonnades.

Congratulations to Professor Victoria Gordon who had an article published in the Summer issue of the Journal of Public Affairs Education. The article explores challenges faced by small MPA programs.
Emma Shoaf, Internatlonal Affairs '16 Graduate, Receives $40K Rotary Global Scholarship to pursue an MA in Development Studies at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. Emma also received a Princeton in Latin America Fellowship and worked in Dominican
Rich received the University Research/Creativity Award at the 2016 Presentation of Faculty Awards for his scholarly contributions to East Asian politics.
Political Science Student, Barrett Greenwell, presented his thesis research at the Pi Sigma Alpha Conference.
Alexandria Knipp, a WKU student from Olive Hill, has been awarded a prestigious U.S. Foreign Service Internship from the U.S. Department of State.
