It is the position of the University Police Department that among the violations of misconduct considered to be of an especially serious nature are those that represent a threat to the safety and health of members of the University Community. These include but are not limited too, harassment, physical violence or threat of violence, non-consensual sexual contact, rape or any form of sexual violence.
2006 Campus Crime ALERT

The Western Kentucky University Police are alerting students of recent thefts from residence hall rooms. These thefts are targeting electronic equipment including lap top computers, stereo equipment, and text books. Students should always lock their residence hall room doors any time the room is unattended. All of these thefts have been crimes of opportunity where the doors were unlocked and the room was unattended.
W.K.U Police are requesting anyone with information regarding any criminal activity, please contact the police department at 270-745-2548 or the Confidential Tip Line at 270-745-8773. You can also report a crime through the departments email and/or through our confidential crime reporting email.
