Potter College of Arts & Letters

Potter College is home to the visual and performing arts, the humanities, and the social sciences. The College offers 33 majors, 37 minors, 11 undergraduate certificates and 7 graduate degree programs through 11 academic units. These units include the Departments of Art & Design, Communication, English, Folk Studies and Anthropology, History, Modern Languages, Music, Political Science, Sociology & Criminology, Theatre and Dance as well as the School of Media.

When Jackson isn’t helping out his fraternity brothers, he stays busy using the skills he’s learned inside the classroom to grow his clothing line “Jawbrker.”

A passion for design wasn’t new for Garcia Lopez. He remembers being creative his entire childhood. However, beginning graphic design at WKU helped hone his skills and interests through study and hands-on experience.

ellie dassler

Dassler said that studying folklore has afforded her a greater understanding of the world. She said that the discipline focuses on the good and the bad that often goes unnoticed but carries a powerful message.
