Welcome to the WKU Family!

You and your student are now part of one of the most dynamic, future-thinking universities in the United States.  As you and your student learn more about WKU, you will come to understand how you both will be challenged and changed by the experience.

Why will you and your student be changed?  Your student will be exposed to top-rated faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, top-rated programs and students with an international perspective.  You will soon see a change in your relationship with your student as s/he gains knowledge, experience, and confidence.

The WKU Parents Association's charge is to be the conduit for information between the University, its students, and family members.  To accomplish this charge, we look for opportunities to gather information from students and their families about the WKU experience.  This information is then communicated to all levels of the University.  In turn the information we receive from the University is communicated to students and families.

We would like to invite you to become a part of this process.  Please consider joining the Parents Advisory Council so that you and your student can gain the maximum benefit from your WKU experience.
