OU Addons

OU Addons were create to work with your OU Campus site. Use addons to create and manage News, Calendars, and Staff pages. You can also create shorter feeds of your news articles and calendar events.



The Calendar Addons was created for users to maintain an Events Calendar on their website.  This is just a basic calendaring system that does not have registration capabilities built in.  It will allow you to display information about upcoming events.  You can see an example of the Calendar Addon at our Funnymonkeys Calendar Site.

The News Addons gives users the ability to add News Articles to your website and display a feed of those articles elsewhere on the site.  You can see an example of the News Addon at our Funnymonkeys News Site

If you are a site manager of the site, you can update your social media links that are listed in the Social Media Directory.  If you would like to add your site to the Social Media Directory please contact webservices@wku.edu.

The Staff Addon will assist you in creating both staff listing pages and individual staff profile pages.  You can see an example of the Staff Addon at our Funnymonkeys Staff Site.

Short URLs

The Short URL Addon allows you to create shorter versions of URLs.  This can be an effective tool for marketers, including the ability to put Google Analytics tracking on the short URL.
