Online Undergraduate Programs

Undergraduate Programs

WKU offers 20 online undergraduate degrees at the bachelor’s and associate degree levels, including two competency based education programs. Majors include health, business, leadership, criminology, technology, and family services, just to name a few. Our online bachelor degrees have been ranked among the top 5 in the nation for three consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report. This ranking is based on student engagement, faculty credentials, student services and technology, and reputation.

Online Associate Degrees

Associate Degrees

WKU offers two associate degrees 100% online, and one hybrid online program that only requires one meeting each week. Associate degrees can be earned in as little as two years. In addition, with proper planning, an associate of science or associate of arts may count toward a four–year bachelor’s degree.

 Competency-Based Education

Competency-Based Education

WKU offers a flexible learning path that provides personalized learning for students with practical work experience and relevant knowledge within their field. Students go through coursework at their own pace and bypass information they already know in order to go straight to their final exam(s). With no traditional semesters or deadlines, students can study and complete their courses when and where their schedule permits.

Online Colonnade

Colonnade

The Colonnade Program (formerly general education) is a set of classes designed for all students seeking a bachelor's degree at WKU. Associate degree programs also require completion of some Colonnade courses. Colonnade can be completed 100% online for most majors, including all online degree programs.
