Mammoth Cave National Park is hosting their third annual bat night! There will be activities from 11:30am-2:00pm at the visitor center and activities across the park starting at 7:00pm. The afternoon activities include poster sessions and displays providing information about different species of bats. The evening activities include a self guided tour of the park and different stations where scientists will explain different techniques and equipment used for bat research. The final station is at the Historic Entrance and will give visitors a chance to use night vision goggles to watch bats emerging from the cave.
