Student Identity Outreach
Student Identity Outreach strives to provide resources, in the form of information, connections, and events, for Western Kentucky University (WKU)'s Gender and Sexual Minorities (GSMs) and its Queer Community. We exist to educate all students, faculty, and staff on GSM history and issues, as well as to be an advocate for their interests on and around WKU. Click here to view the WKU SIO constitution.
SIO meetings are Monday, 7pm, in Jones-Jagger Hall's Centertorium (across the street from PFT). They start the second week of class and continue weekly.
A panel discussion entitled "After DOMA: The Future of the LGBT Movement in Kentucky and Beyond" will be held on September 10, 2013 from 5pm to 4pm in Snell Hall. Click here for more information.
