WKU Foundation receives payment to fund the Graves Gilbert Clinic Endowment Fund for Excellence in Healthcare

Bowling Green, KY – A Graves Gilbert Clinic Endowment Fund for Excellence in Healthcare has recently been established through a partnership with Western Kentucky University (WKU) and the WKU College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). The fund was established through a $100,000 payment made by the Graves Gilbert Clinic to the WKU Foundation and will be used to support the priority initiatives of Western Kentucky University’s College of Health and Human Services.

“We are extremely grateful for the generosity of the Graves Gilbert Clinic in the establishment of this endowment fund,” said Dean of the WKU CHHS Dr. Neale Chumbler, “the CHHS will certainly utilize this fund in an excellent way. As a college with a mission to improve the quality of life in the community through education, service, collaboration, leadership, and scholarship, we are excited to have the continued support, and now this endowment fund to support our commitment to our mission.”

Graves-Gilbert Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic in Bowling Green, KY, founded in 1937 by Dr. G.Y. Graves and Dr. Tom Gilbert. Since its founding, the clinic has grown to include over 125 physicians representing 30 medical specialties.
