WKU’s Learn and Earn program will have a special announcement and reception at 2 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 10) at the Knicely Conference Center, 2355 Nashville Road.
Project Manager Leslie Witty said announcements will include new partnerships and the foundation of an advisory board. At the reception, partners will be showcasing their products and services and current student participants will be on hand.
The Learn and Earn program at WKU partners with area companies and businesses to employ both traditional and non-traditional college students thus helping meet their company production goals. In return, those students work for wages and receive college scholarships from their employers as well.
