WKU removes spring break from academic calendar

WKU will cancel spring break, the provost announced in an email Tuesday morning.
Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Chery Stevens said the decision was made following a meeting with The Big Red Restart Academic Affairs and Inquiry Task Force last week.

Vivian Rivera is WKU's latest to earn the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. NSF Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 and a $16,000 cost-of-education allowance is awarded to their graduate institution.
