WKU Faculty and Staff,
Thank you for your remarkable efforts during the last three weeks to support each other, support our students, and support our University.
The COVID-19 pandemic has turned our world upside down in many ways, professionally and personally. In a short timeframe, almost every service WKU provides has been rethought and reshaped. From class instruction delivery and grading to housing, dining, advising, and athletics - it’s hard to imagine any company with the breadth and depth of changes to make, as a result of this crisis, that compare to those we have seen from higher education institutions. The complexity of daily operations at universities like WKU, from running residential communities to international operations, can only be managed successfully by the most committed and adept individuals.
The WKU Board of Regents recognizes your remarkable work and continued dedication to our students and to WKU. Individuals, teams, departments, and divisions across our campuses have risen up together to work to overcome one of the greatest challenges in our institution’s history. We understand it has been difficult and appreciate all that you are doing.
Please take care of one another and know that we are here to support you along the way.
