2019 National Geographic GeoBee State Competition March 29

One hundred fourth- through eighth-graders from across Kentucky will compete Friday (March 29) in the 2019 Kentucky State National Geographic Bee at WKU’s Knicely Conference Center, 2355 Nashville Road.
Students will be competing for the top prize of $1,000 cash and the title of state champion to represent Kentucky in the National Geographic Bee Championship in Washington, D.C., this May.
Preliminary rounds will begin at 9 a.m. with the final round at 10:30 a.m.

Vivian Rivera is WKU's latest to earn the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. NSF Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 and a $16,000 cost-of-education allowance is awarded to their graduate institution.
