Dr. Chang received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Indiana University. Dr. Chang joined the Flagship faculty team in 2014 and is originally from Taipei, Taiwan. Her primary area of specialization is in phonology. Her research interests include language attrition, acquisition of second language phonology, and Chinese phonology. Dr. Chang co-led the 2016 January Faculty Led Study Abroad Program to Taiwan with Dr. Timothy Rich, Assistant Professor of Political Science. Dr. Chang also serves as one of the Chinese Flagship and Honors College advisors.
