"If I had any tips for other students who have yet to take advantage of this opportunity [to take the STAMP test], I would tell them it is definitely worth it! It saves time, money, and lets you focus on classes in your major by fulfilling this language requirement faster."
-Emily (Class of 2019)
World Language Requirements and Offerings at Kentucky Colleges and Universities
Comparing language requirements and course offerings at the many colleges and universities in Kentucky can be tedious and confusing. To help prospective world language students, we have compiled this information for you. Below you will find our complete chart and a PDF download link. This chart provides information on language requirements, available placement testing, and offered languages at all of the public (and many of the private) colleges and universities in Kentucky. Sources for the information included in this chart can be accessed by downloading this PDF file.
This chart was approved by the heads of the language departments at each institute and is accurate as of June 2016. If you represent one of the schools listed and want to make a correction or if you represent a school that is not listed and would like to be, please email the WKU Department of Modern Languages.
