Support M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan
Since 1993, M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan has been engaging WKU's newest Hilltoppers in interactive educational and informational workshops, special events, and meaningful social activities, designed to assist them in their transition from home and high school to college. During M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan week, students have the opportunity to become acclimated to the college campus, identify resources, develop rapport with faculty and staff members, as well as administrators, make connections with fellow students, receive their very first red towels, and catch the WKU spirit! Students who have participated in this five-day extended orientation program have reported higher levels of satisfaction with their collegiate experience, which, studies have shown, has a direct correlation with higher GPAs and success in college.
While M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan is hosted by the Department of Housing and Residence Life, the program is a campus-wide initiative. With the support of many campus departments, the M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan program has grown significantly, not in scope, but in size as well. The number of participants has more than tripled since the programs inception in 1993. In fact, the M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan program served over 2,300 new students last year! Learn how you or your business can support M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan:
