Schedule for M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan 2017

Participants will receive a complete schedule of all M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan events during registration on Sunday, August 13th, 2017. You can also view your personalized schedule on the iWKU app beginning Sunday, August 13th, 2017.

In order to assist you in making travel plans, here is a sample schedule:

Sunday, August 13, 2017

8 am - 4 pm Residence Hall check-in
  M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan material pick up (Downing Student Union, Third Floor)
  Vendor Fair (Downing Student Union, Third Floor)
4-6 pm Family Farewell Dinner with President Tim Caboni & Kacy Caboni (DSU South Lawn)
6 pm Residence Hall Orientation
8 pm Opening Ceremony
9:15 pm Class Photo
10:00 pm M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan Opening Social - Glow Zone

Monday, August 14 - Thursday, August 17

Educational SessionsDuring the daytime, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan week, program participants attend educational sessions designed to provide them with essential information and resources to help ensure their success during their first semester in college.  Some of the session topics are listed below.  Program participants attend these sessions with other students on their residential living floors as well as their Resident Assistants.  Educational sessions take place throughout the day beginning at 10am, and ending at 4pm.

  • Money Management and Fiscal Responsibility

  • Time Management and Student Wellness
  • Decision Making

Special Events:  M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan Special Events take place at varying times, Sunday through Thursday, and provide unique opportunities for new students to engage with WKU faculty, staff, and administrators, and identify ways to get involved in campus life.

Social Activities: A wide variety of social activities take place every night during M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan week beginning at 8:30pm.  These activities are free to all M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan participants and provide opportunities for new students to form connections with other students in attendance. Some of M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan's past social activities are listed below.
