WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks.

WKU Floriculture Instructor & Director of the WKU Floral Design Training Center & Floral Shop

Roger Dennis has over 20 years of experience in floral design and has created for:

  • The second Bush-Cheney Inauguration
  • The Oscars
  • The Tournament of Roses Parade

Currently Roger teaches Greenhouse Production courses as well as Introduction to Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, and Floral Designs for Weddings.

Under the instruction of Master Florist Roger Dennis, the WKU Floriculture Instructor & Director of the WKU Floral Design Training Center & Floral Shop, participants will learn about floral design while creating a beautiful centerpiece that will grace their Thanksgiving table. Fee includes instruction, flowers, and container. Class will be held at the WKU Floral Design Training Center, 514 Regents Avenue, Bowling Green.


Holiday Wreath

November 18, 2014  |  6 – 8 p.m.  |  $85

Under the instruction of Master Florist Roger Dennis, the WKU Floriculture Instructor & Director of the WKU Floral Design Training Center & Floral Shop, participants will learn about floral design while creating a holiday wreath that will last for years. Fee includes instruction and all supplies needed. Class will be held at the WKU Floral Design Training Center, 514 Regents Avenue, Bowling Green.
