WKU’s Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a concentration in Agricultural Education is accredited by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This program is designed to prepare students for licensure in Kentucky. Thus, we have not determined that this program will meet the educational requirements for teacher certification outside the state of Kentucky. Graduates of this program may be able to apply for licensure in The Virgin Islands if they have a bachelors degree from an accredited institution.

Additional requirements for state certification may include background checks, official transcripts, fees, additional coursework, training, experience, and jurisprudence and board examination results. For more details about teacher certification requirements and board contact information, please visit the The Virgin Islands Department of Education website.
