BSN to DNP(Family Nurse Pract)

This state requires applicants pursuing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure must complete preparation in advanced practice nursing at the post- professional nursing level and hold a master's degree or higher in a nursing specialty, and must complete at least three hours of pharmacology to sign prescriptions. The BSN to DNP at WKU is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and the curriculum includes 4 semester hours of graduate coursework in pharmacology.
