- Bachelor of Science
WKU’s Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a concentration in Agricultural Education is accredited by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This program is designed to prepare students for licensure in Kentucky. Thus, we have not determined that this program will meet the educational requirements for teacher certification outside the state of Kentucky. Applicants may be qualify for licensure under the tiered licensure structure in Minnesota if they have obtained a regionally-accredited bachelor's degree from a state-approved teacher preparation program with field-specific student teaching equivalent to requirements of Minnesota programs.
Additional requirements for state certification may include background checks, official transcripts, fees, additional coursework, training, experience, and jurisprudence and board examination results. For more details about teacher certification requirements and board contact information, please visit the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board website.
