- Bachelor of Science
WKU’s Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a concentration in Agricultural Education is accredited by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This program is designed to prepare students for licensure in Kentucky. Thus, we have not determined that this program will meet the educational requirements for teacher certification outside the state of Kentucky. Graduates of this program may be able to apply for licensure in Kansas if the applicant holds a valid full or standard out-of-state license or certificate issued after the successful completion of a state approved preparation program.
Additional requirements for state certification may include background checks, official transcripts, fees, additional coursework, training, experience, and jurisprudence and board examination results. For more details about teacher certification requirements and board contact information, please visit the Kansas State Department of Education website.
