A Barren County native, Leslie Witty graduated from Caverna High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in English and Allied Language Arts as well as a Masters of Arts in Communication from WKU. Her career in education spans over 25 years—she served as a high school teacher, coach and administrator in Warren County before becoming a trainer and eventual Program Manager for WKU Career and Workforce Development (CWD). There she created, delivered and managed an extensive number of soft skill courses and programs, primarily within the manufacturing industry.
Named Project Manager for Learn & Earn in 2016, Witty oversees all aspects of the unique program that provides educational and financial opportunities for college students while simultaneously broadening the labor pool for business partners.
