Minor in Organizational Leadership


The minor in Organizational Leadership requires 18 semester hours and is applicable to any undergraduate student desiring a minor. This minor is designed to give the student supplemental leadership skills which will compliment their degree. Students must earn a grade of “C” or above in the following courses required for this minor: LEAD 200, 325, 330, and 395, and two electives chosen in consultation with their Organizational Leadership advisor. Students earning a minor in Leadership Studies are ineligible for the certificate in Leadership Studies.

LEAD 200: Intro to Leadership Studies OR LEAD 300: Leadership Theory and Application

LEAD 325: Leading Change

LEAD 330: Leading Ethics and Decision Making

LEAD 395: Contemporary Leadership Issues

Electives (6 Hours)

LEAD 440: Leading Teams

LEAD 450: Leading in Global Contexts

LEAD 465: Leadership Coaching
