Kentucky Museum - Fall Break Camp

Fall Break Camp

October 5 - 9, 2015
8:30 am - 12 pm
Explore art and culture at the Kentucky Museum.

Fall break campers will be exploring three new exhibits. Two exhibits in conjunction with the WKU International Year of South Africa, are Conscience of the Human Spirit: The Life of Nelson Mandela and Reminders of South Africa: The Nancy Baird Collection. The third exhibit, Happy Street Signs, puts a positive spin on street signage.  Using these exhibits for inspiration campers will paint a quilt square, work collaboratively on a mural, do wire weaving, bead work, printmaking and design their very own Happy Street Sign. Weather permitting campers will tour the campus to view WKU outdoor sculpture.

Campers take a snack break around 10:15 daily with snack and drink provided by the Museum.
