Investiture Volunteer Information
Members of the volunteer team are the face of WKU on Investiture day. Many of the individuals attending this event have never been to the WKU campus and may have traveled many miles to get here, so volunteers are their first welcome to the University.
Staff and students who volunteer to assist with the Investiture will significantly contribute to the success of the event by helping guests find their way around campus, by answering general questions, and by creating a welcoming environment.
If you are interested in serving as a volunteer at the Investiture, please email investiture@wku.edu as soon as possible. We appreciate your willingness to contribute your time and energy to this special event!

Training
All volunteers should attend a short 30-minute training on Wednesday, April 25 at 2:15pm in the WAB 1st Floor Conference Room. If you are unable to attend the training session, please email investiture@wku.edu to set up a time for one-on-one training.
Parking
Volunteers should park in their normal student or staff parking lots, where available. Please note: some floors of PS1 and PS2, as well as the Diddle South Lot, are reserved for Investiture guests, which may displace some student and staff parking.
Check-In
On the day of the event, volunteers will check in on the 3rd floor of Downing Student Union. A secure room will be available to store your belongings. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Nametags will be available for those who do not have them.
What to Wear
Spirit Masters should wear black suits, nametags and lapel pins. College Ambassadors should wear the polo shirt provided by their college and black or khaki pants. Staff should wear business attire. Everyone should wear comfortable shoes!
