As the Executive Director for International Enrollment Management (IEM), Stephanie is responsible for the oversight and strategic planning for all areas within IEM. These areas include international undergraduate student recruitment and international undergraduate student admission. She also oversees credential evaluations, international student and scholar services, F-1/F-2 and J-1/J-2 immigration compliance. She is the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) and Responsible Officer (RO). Stephanie oversees partnerships and collaborations with sponsored international student agencies and government entities. She oversees the undergraduate Pathway Program, and serves as the liaison between ESLi and WKU.
Stephanie has over 20 years of experience in higher education ranging from international education, career services, financial aid, and foundation and public affairs (as a graduate assistant). She also has experience teaching macroeconomics at the university level, both abroad and within the States. Additionally, she has taught English as a foreign language abroad. She has developed and co-led faculty-led programs to various locations around the globe. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Stephanie served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan within the economic development sector. After returning from Kazakhstan, Stephanie received a graduate assistantship and earned a Master’s in Business Administration concentrating on economics, while also earning an International Business Certificate.
Her previous supervisory experience directly related to international education encompasses all facets within this field: study abroad, faculty-led programs, university partnership relationships, an English language program, recruitment and admissions for both undergraduate and graduate programs.
