As the Sponsored International Student Advisor, Ashley acts as the liaison and primary contact to sponsoring organizations and governments. She arranges logistics for sponsored students, coordinates services with internal and external stakeholders, and provides student support. Ashley monitors admission, enrollment, and financial data related to sponsored students. She prepares complex documents and reports for submission to host institution applications on behalf of WKU. She arranges and organizes campus visits for visitor and student sponsors.
Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from WKU in 2002. She earned a Master of Arts in International Development and Global Health from the University of Kentucky in 2011. Along with her education, Ashley’s experience with international travel through the Peace Corps for two years in China and one year in Uganda prepared her for her role with International Enrollment Management.
