As an International Admissions Officer and Designated School Official, Amy’s role includes assisting prospective students through the application process, performing credential evaluations of foreign educational documents, and finalizing admission decisions which includes collaborating with English as a Second Language International (ESLi) in their application and approval processes. She also assists with management of I-20 processes for all new international graduate and undergraduate students.
Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Murray State University in 1997. She earned a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate from i-i Language Institute in West Yorkshire, UK in 2005. Amy earned a Graduate Certificate in International Student Services from WKU in 2016. She is currently working toward a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership at WKU with planned completion of spring 2018. Having lived abroad for twelve years in the African countries of Zambia, Malawi, Botswana, and Mozambique administering secondary educational support at IB World (American and British) International Schools prepared Amy for her position within International Enrollment Management.
