Jump Squats (March 1-March 31)

Looking for a cardiovascular and leg toning workout?  Jump squats is the exercise for you!  The challenge is for you to perform as many jump squats as you can in 30 seconds.  Stop by the Fitness Center today!  You can participate as many times as you want through the month of March.

Male and Female winners will receive a $15 gift card and there will be three raffle prize winners, each winning $10 gift cards. 

Directions:

  • Notify fitness center staff before your attempt.
  • Jump squat as many times as you can in 30 seconds.
  • Participate at least 2 times for a WellU credit.
  • Winner, male and female, is determined by participant who can perform the most repetitions properly in 30 seconds.
Wednesday, March 21st
7:00pm - 9:00pm
  • Location: Preston Center Pool
  • Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Learn the basics of kayaking and the kayak roll in the pool.  This instructional clinic will provide a hands-on experience and personal attention.  Kayaks and instructors included.  Swimming skills are a prerequisite.  You must pre-register for this clinic at ORAC.

Friday, March 23rd

Join ORAC as we team up with the University of Kentucky on a weekend climbing adventure to one of the world’s top tock climbing destinations.  Red River Gorge is home to more than 100 natural sandstone arches and thousands of climbable rock faces and boulders.  All climbing equipment will be provided.  No previous climbing or bouldering experience is necessary.

Saturday, March 24th
