Natatorium Equipment available for Preston Center patrons.
Goggles: Swim goggles are a form of protective eye wear that encloses or protects the surrounding eye in order to prevent water from touching.
Aquajogger belt: The Aquajogger belt can be used by patrons as a tool for training, rehabilitation or even skill instruction. This belt may also be used by competitive athletes for high levels of fitness and impact-free deep water exercise. The Aquajogger will allow the individual to breathe normally with their face out of the water without his or her feet touching the bottom of the pool. The no impact tool provides for resistance in all directions and is self-controlled for speed.
Hand Paddles: These swim paddles are great for training and building upper body strength. The paddles are contoured to the shape of your hand. They help develop proper stroke mechanic and form while maintaining the hands' natural feel for water flow. The small holes in the design lessen resistance and the blue tubing won't overpower your hands. The wrist area and finger straps are adjustable for a custom fit.
Kickboard: A buoyant board used to keep the upper body of a swimmer afloat while allowing free movement of the legs, used chiefly to improve kicking technique or develop leg strength and endurance.
