Natatorium Equipment available for Preston Center patrons is available at the front desk equipment issue station as you enter the facility.
Goggles: Swim goggles are a form of protective eyewear that encloses or protects the surrounding eye in order to prevent water from touching. The Preston Center has 10 pairs of TYP Racetech clear performance goggles available upon request.
Aquajogger belt: The Aquajogger belt can be used by patrons as a tool for training, rehabilitation or even skill instruction. This piece of equipment combines for technique of buoyance, resistance, speed and endurance. This belt may also be used by competitive athletes for high levels of fitness and impact-free deep water exercise. The Aquajogger will allow the individual to breathe normally with their face out of the water without his or her feet touching the bottom of the pool. The no impact tool provides for resistance in all directions and is self-controlled for speed.
Challenge pro light & pro medium hand buoys: The foam and plastic barbells that feature padded hand grips are offered in two sizes, light and medium. These buoys are ideal for upper-body conditioning in both deep and shallow water. They may be used for underwater resistance, surface flotation or even stability.
Hand Paddles: The Sporti Power swim paddles are hydronamic, lightwheight & contoured. Thes swim paddles are great for training and building upper body strength. The paddles are contoured to the shape of your hand. They help develop proper stroke mecanic and form while maintaining the hands' natural feel for water flow. The small holes in the design lessen resistance and the blue tubing won't overpower your hands. The wrist area and finger straps are adjustable for a custom fit. The Preson Center has 3 pairs of hand paddles in a Small, Medium & Large size.
