Thank you for your interest in hosting your group at WKU this Summer! Our residence halls are a great space for your Summer Conference guests. We welcome educational, professional, or religious organizations, as well as youth groups and sports clinics. Whatever kind of group you may want to host, we have a space for you! Summer conferences can be held anytime from June 1 through July 31. We can accomodate short and long term groups.

Please read the Terms and Conditions and print a copy of the Conference Agreement.
Return the completed Agreement to the address supplied. A confirmation of the reservation will be sent upon receipt and approval of the Agreement by WKU Housing & Residence Life.
WKU Housing & Residence Life offers two types of room accommodations in the residence halls for Summer Conferences:
- Air-conditioned, double occupancy bedroom with community bathrooms.
- Air-conditioned, double occupancy bedroom with a shared suite bathroom.
Both options are available on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to date, time, and size of group restrictions.
- $18 per person per night: double occupancy bedroom, community bathrooms, air-conditioned hall
- $25 per person per night: double occupancy bedroom, suite style bathroom, air-conditioned hall for groups with 50 or more participants
- $30 per person per night: double occupancy bedroom, suite style bathroom, air-conditioned hall for groups with under 50 participants
An invoice/inter-account will be sent to the organizing person for all housing charges after the group checks out of the residence hall. Individuals cannot be billed for keys, damages, or rental charges. The group's invoice will reflect all charges.
If your group is grant funded, an invoice/inter-account will be sent upon checkout to the organizing group. Special billing requests must be received in writing before the group checks into the halls.
Each double occupancy conference hall bedroom contains two of the following:
- Twin-sized beds (80"x36")
- Chest of Drawers
- Desk Chairs
- Trash Cans
Linens and Refrigerators
Linens, pillows, and refrigerators are NOT provided by the University. Participants are asked to bring their own linens, pillows, and blankets. The group organizers are responsible for providing any emergency supplies, as we do not have any on campus.
At this time, we do not have meeting space available in the Summer Conference Residence Halls. There are two conference rooms available for rent in the WKU Housing & Residence Life Central Office area (Southwest Hall). Please contact Lisa Cook at (270) 745-2037 for rates and availability.
Reserving Other WKU Buildings/Areas
WKU Campus and Community Events coordinates all University functions except the actual bedroom rentals for Summer Conferences. Contact Rachel Goodman at (270) 745-2497 or visit their website at www.wku.edu/wkuevents for further information.
Dining and Catering
To learn more about WKU Dining options, contact Dining Services at (270) 745-2416. You can also view their website at http://www.wku.edu/wkurg/ for available hours of on-campus food services, meal plans, and catering needs during the summer.
Departments or coordinators planning conferences, short courses, workshops or meetings may request visitor parking passes for their guests in advance of planned visits. Contact the WKU Department of Parking and Transportation 10 days in advance of your event to make parking arrangements for your group. (270) 745-2361
