The $100 Solution House is a WKU Living-Learning Community of five individuals who will be working together on projects through The $100 Solution.

The $100 Solution provides students with knowledge, skills, and funds of exactly 100 USD to go into communities and make a difference by asking a simple question: "What can we do to improve your quality of life?" The program demonstrates the power a small amount of money has to change lives, and it challenges the way public service is traditionally done by fully engaging students in the process.

The open house will give you a closer look into the house and program.

If you are interested in applying to live and participate in The $100 Solution House for the 2015-2016 academic year, you can apply online.

The Fifth Annual Gender & Communication Conference

You are more than your gender. You’re a student, an athlete, an artist, a sibling, a partner, a leader, and a spiritual being. Join us as we explore the intersections of our identities, engage in respectful dialogue, expand our worldviews, and evolve our ways of thinking about gender.

The fifth annual Gender & Communication Conference is a special opportunity for WKU students to gather and thoughtfully discuss topics of gender and how it relates to them personally and globally. WKU Faculty and Staff presenters will engage students to critically think and discuss how these topics apply to their everyday lives. Students will walk away with new insights and tools to effectively work and live with others in today's society.

  • All WKU students, faculty, and staff members are invited to attend.
  • Lunch (provided) with keynote speaker.
  • Dessert reception after sessions.
  • Swipeable event
