A medical history form is required and certain individuals will need to get physician’s approval prior to beginning the service.


Beginner / Advanced Weight Training Orientation

Cost: Students $5.00; Faculty/Staff $10.00; Community $25.00

An individualized one time personal fitness consultation leading to the design of a personalized fitness program. Each client will be led through each component of the fitness program providing ample opportunity to ensure program comprehension.

Kick Start Program - 3 Sessions

Cost: Students $15.00; Faculty/Staff $25.00; Community $50.00

A comprehensive individualized introduction to weight training and/or exercise. Kick Start Program is an extension of the Weight Training Orientation service.

 Session Two

  • Personal training session including detailed supervision and instructionsexercise through the personalized program
  • Client will receive a copy of the fitness program and exercise tracking sheet

Total Fitness Package - 5 Sessions

 Cost: Students $20.00; Faculty/Staff $30.00; Community $50.00

The Total Fitness Package is a combination of two services into one (Basic Fitness Assessment and the Kick Start Program). It is a long term service which includes an initial fitness assessment, three exercise consultation / training sessions, and a final fitness assessment.tanita

  • Equipment/exercise orientation – thorough explanation of the program,cardio instruction on how to use the equipment and correct lifting technique

Olympic Weightlifting Coaching  - 2 Sessions

 Cost: Students $30.00; Faculty/Staff $40.00; Community $50.00

Olympic Weightlifting is the most effective training method for working the entire body simultaneously. The goal is to improve your power, mobility, and coordination for athletic performance or functional ability. With the help of a USA Weightlifting Certified coach, you will be introduced to proper technique and coached so you may lift independently and with confidence. Choose the single, one hour session to become acquainted with the technique; or the two session package for follow-up and additional tuning.

Session One

  • Purpose of Olympic Weightlifting,Safety- Assessing readiness, platforms, equipment, etiquette, missing correctly, Technique- Clean & Jerk, Snatch, progressions,Practice- critique technique

Session Two

  • Demonstration & critique, Accessory exercises, Mobility training, Formatting a workout, Program development, Practice
