Other Opportunities
TIP-KY: The Talent Identification Program of Kentucky (TIP-KY) offers above-level testing
to assess where students are academically so educators and families can help guide
students to relevant resources, appropriate enrichment programming, and other services
that will challenge and encourage growth.
Kentucky Kids Compete: For grades K-12, this a hub for competitions students can enter as individuals whether it be paper-writing, art submissions, or business plans. This is the one-stop shop for your student to shine.
The Doctors Mody Service Learning Competitions for Young People: In 2020, Drs. Bharat and Bharati Mody established The Mody Endowed Fund in Service Learning at The Center for Gifted Studies with the hope of passing on their lifelong commitment to serving their communities and sparking a passion for volunteerism among high-achieving young people.
IdeaFestival Bowling Green: a one-day celebration of ideas for middle and high school students and interested adults
Travel Abroad: Spring Break and Fall Break trips to selected cities and countries of cultural and historical significance for eighth grade and high school honors students and interested adults
