Student Financial Assistance

Winter Financial Aid

Once you are enrolled we will determine your eligibility. Please allow at least four weeks for your aid to be awarded. Winter 2011 is considered part of the 2011-2012 academic year. In order to receive financial aid for winter 2012, students must have a 2011-2012 FAFSA on file.

You will be notified of an award through your WKU email account. If you are on a probationary status or approved appeal for the Fall term, your eligibility for winter aid won't be considered until after fall grades are posted. Please continue to check your TOPNET account.

If you receive financial aid during the winter term and you withdraw from or fail the course your spring financial aid will be jeopardized.

**While some, but not all students may be eligible for Pell Grant during the winter term, it will not be sufficient to cover tuition charges. Therefore, it is your responsibility to pay the balance not covered. If you are unable to pay the balance, you must withdraw from the course prior to January 3rd.
