Resources for Contacting Us Remotely

Due to measures put in place due to COVID-19, counseling from the Department of Student Financial Assistance will primarily be accommodated through telephone, email, and Zoom. More information about this can be found below.


Appointments through Zoom 

Zoom is a video conferencing software that allows Financial Aid Staff to speak with you face-to-face.

In order to schedule an appointment to meet with us via Zoom, please send an email to fa.help@wku.edu. Zoom appointments are typically available Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m. CST. 

What is Zoom? 

Zoom is a video communications tool, with an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat, and webinars across mobile devices, desktops, telephones, and room systems.

Reaching Our Staff by Phone or Email 

In order to help avoid the possible spread of COVID-19, our office is still open, but we are currently not meeting with individuals face-to-face. Instead, we encourage you to give us a call at 270-745-2755 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm CST. You can also submit your question via email to fa.help@wku.edu.




Information About SAP: If you are currently on Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Warning or Probation, please know that our department will be reviewing all guidance from the Department of Education, once released, to identify any updates or changes to the current SAP reqirements due to the disruption caused by Covid 19.  We understand that this is a difficult time for our students and we will update our site as soon as information is available to us.
