Dance Big Red is a student-led fundraising event benefiting the Children's Hospital Foundation, a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds for Kosair Children's Hospital and its sister facilities in Louisville, Kentucky. Kosair Children's Hospital and Kosair Children's Medical Center - Brownsboro care for more than 155,000 children from Kentucky and Southern Indiana each year.

All Western Kentucky University students, faculty and staff are invited to participate (WKU ID required). To register for Dance Big Red click the Register Now! button to get started! Once you have registered you will have your own personal fundraising page to help you with surpassing the fundraising goal of $100. The overall goal for Dance Big Red is $15,000. The second annual Dance Big Red will have a focus on pediatric cardiology. Kosair Children’s Hospital is home to the only pediatric heart transplant program in Kentucky. Every year, nearly one child in every 100 is born with some type of congenital heart defect.
