Amanda Coates Lich joined the Office of Philanthropy in August 2006. Lich has more than 12 years of experience in development, alumni relations, annual giving, and volunteer management and has been a part of multiple successful capital campaigns. In prior roles, Lich has served as a Director of Development at the University of Kentucky, Director of the Children’s Miracle Network for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and in annual giving roles at the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation and Western Kentucky University. A native of Windyville, Kentucky (Edmonson County), Lich received her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Western Kentucky University where she served as Student Regent and Student Body President her senior year. She received her master’s degree in public administration and has completed all coursework toward her doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and has presented on topics related to institutional advancement on the local, state, and national levels.
