Work Ethic – Managing Performance Beyond Mediocrity

Introduction

In today’s culture, the value of strong work ethic is a missing component in many business and industry organizations. This class is specifically created to assist supervisors and managers in managing employees with problems in work ethic.

Objectives

The participant will learn to recognize the expectations of what work ethic is in areas of preparedness, professionalism, and going beyond the acceptable to a higher level of performance.

  • How to "model" strong work ethic in a team environment
  • Consequences of lack of strong work ethic
  • Procrastination and its effects
  • How to develop new behavior patterns

This seminar is intended for supervisors who need to understand their role in setting the standard for employees in the work place.
