education. Courses, webinars, and on-demand trainings are developed and taught by
leaders in their respective areas.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
This low-cost web/video-based training course is offered through a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services
Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Visit the TFCBT webpage to register and complete the course. Ten units of continuing education credit is
approved for the successful completion of the full online training course.
Prolonged Exposure Emotional Processing Therapy for PTSD
This FREE training is offered through PEWeb , which is an "online, interactive, training program designed to teach mental health
providers how to implement Prolonged Exposure therapy, one of the most highly effective
treatments for people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This site has a
particular focus on the treatment of military and combat-related PTSD although the
principles and methods described work well for any type of traumatic event that results
in PTSD." It was “developed through a collaborative Veteran Affairs grant funded project
including clinicians and researchers from the Medical University of South Carolina,
University of Pennsylvania, and the VA Palo Alto HCS/National Center for PTSD.” Visit

PTSD Consultation Program
For providers who treat Veterans. They provide free online continuing education on
PTSD with more than 40 free on-demand courses such as dissociation, somatization, challenging presentations of PTSD, women's health,
and treatment through telemental health. They also offere a free monthly webinar in the PTSD Consultation Lecture Series. Free CE/CMES for all courses and lectures through NBCC, APA, ANCC, ASWB, and ACCME-NP.
In addition, any healthcare provider who treats Veterans can use the PTSD Consultation

PsychArmor Institute for working with active duty and veteran service members
Take free courses through PsychArmor Institute, a national nonprofit that provides FREE online education and support to all Americans who work with, live with or care for military service
members, veterans and their families.

A $100 registration will get you 30.5 CEUs from the LPC, LMFT, SW, Psych, nursing and other boards. The registration also includes classroom and field sessions, onsite lodging and meals, use of equipment and facilities, participant T-shirt, an experience that will enhance your skills for working with the SMVF population, and a great networking opportunity to build your resources. The Bridge to Recovery
Accelerated Program for Behavioral Health Professionals

The Bridge residential programs were designed to assist individuals and family members
suffering from codependence, trauma and related issues that hinder growth, joy and
personal effectiveness. The accelerated program based upon their core residential
program was created to heal and help the professional, so that they can do the same.
This intensive program is specifically designed for professionals in the field of
recovery and addiction but can benefit any helping professional. The week-long residential
program is separate from the main client population and allows for professionals to
focus on their own recovery in a peaceful place free from professional duties or dual

Bowling Green Mental Health Providers "Lunch & Learn"
The Bowling Green Mental Health Professionals will have quarterly sessions each year for our mental health providers in the area. A five dollar annual contribution will go to support these efforts, but is not required. Please extend this invitation to other mental health providers in our area who might be interested in attending.
Come, learn, and do a little networking. Clinical students are welcome. Please contact
Chuck Webb, cwebb11458@aol.com, or Jeff Rose, jrosebikes@gmail.com for more details or to sponsor a future luncheon. These lunch and learn meetings are
a great way to stay connected and meet some new and old mental health professionals.
They anticipate having 3-4 sessions each year for mental health providers in the area
and suggest a five dollar annual contribution to support these efforts, but is not
required.
